David Tolson

David Tolson is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of DBT DEVELOPMENT GROUP/DBT-DATA, a national real estate development firm which currently focuses on powered land data center sites.

David founded DBT Development Group in 1990 as a residential adaptive reuse firm.  DBT Development Group quickly grew to become a leading real estate development firm in the Washington, DC area. DBT Development has helped to positively transform the real estate landscape in the nation’s capitol over the past thirty years. Under David’s leadership, DBT Development has overseen both redevelopment and ground up construction of dozens of condominium and apartment buildings throughout the Washington, DC area.

DBT- DATA has developed nearly twenty data center projects since its first project in 2007.  David’s extensive experience in the real estate development and construction fields has been instrumental in the growth and success of DBT DEVELOPMENT GROUP/DBT-DATA. 

David has nineteen years of nonprofit board service across educational, environmental and community improvement organizations.

David received a B.A. in International Economics from The George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs in 1990.
